Paris Saint-Germain are well aware that keeping Kylian Mbappe despite considerable interest from Real Madrid will be difficult, and they are already preparing for life without the French phenomenon.
Leonardo and the rest of the sporting director's team are well aware that Mbappe's exit is a distinct possibility, prompting them to compile a list of potential replacements.
The first name on the list is Erling Haaland, the Norwegian striker who is expected to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The teenager is one of Europe's most sought-after players, and wherever he goes, he will deliver huge stats. According to L'Equipe, Haaland's agent Mino Raiola has already spoken with Leonardo, and the deal will cost PSG between 75 million and 90 million euros.
Also on the list are Pogba and Paqueta.
Along with Haaland, Leonardo has Paul Pogba and Lucas Paqueta on his shortlist.
Pogba will be a free agent this summer, and while he will not be a straight replacement for Mbappe, he will provide toughness to the midfield, freeing up the already dangerous front line.
Paqueta is a personal favourite of Leonardo's and is thought to be interested in joining PSG, despite the fact that he would cost PSG roughly 80 million euros.
